Wedding Photography at The Post Barn
The Post Barn is one of the newer kids on the block and has since then made it to the top of my favourites list offering a contemporary take on a traditional barn. The Post Barn is absolutely perfect if you are after a chic and sophisticated style.

Group Shots In Any Weather!
One of the things I always plan for when shooting weddings in the UK is temperamental weather and The Post Barn offers a great covered spot for formal group shots if the weather isn't on your side! The gigantic black framed window is one of the most recognisable features of the barn and looks fab as a formal group backdrop, especially with it being covered for those gloomy days - it's perfect year round!

Large Group Shots
I also love venues with steps leading up to the main door or archway. If you'd like to put together a big group shot or if you're simply blessed with lots of family members to include in your formal group shots, it's so handy to have the tiers to work with, ensuring that everybody can be seen in the shot!

Portrait Location Ideas
The grounds surrounding The Post Barn are split into several levels, offering a variety of unique backdrops for your images. It's also nice to be able to go for a wander whilst capturing your couple portraits and not feel like everyone's eyes are on you from the terrace where the cocktail hour is underway! One of my favourites has to be the incredible flower arch over the main pathway which creates the most etheral, spring meadow like backdrop! A must, especially in the sun!

A modern barn, perfect for those detail orientated couples who want to create a joyful, bright and romantic day.

Golden Hour Coverage
The Post barn is situated right next to a golf course which is usually off limits during the daytime. After the course closing time, in the spring/summer, you'll likely have the opportunity to use the course for some epic golden hour shots. I would definitely recommend doing this if you are treated to lovely weather on your big day! It's also a great excuse to send some quality time as a newly married couple within the hustle and bustle of the day!
